Admission process is transparent:  widely publicized in newspapers and on the University website www.srtmun.ac.in.  The admissions in all PG programs, diploma and certificate programs offered in the School of Earth Sciences are purely on merit basis. The government reservation policy will be strictly adopted in the student admissions.  The School admits students from the SRTM University jurisdiction, other Universities in Maharashtra, other Universities outside the Maharashtra state and also International students as per the University rules.

The University will conduct separate entrance examination every year for admission in to Ph.D. and M.Phil. Programs and these examinations are as per UGC guidelines.
