Dr. K. Vijaya Kumar took his M.Sc. in 1990 and Ph.D. in 1995 from Osmania University, Hyderabad. His Ph.D. thesis on the genesis of cumulate gabbro-anorthosites was adjudged highly commendable. He availed Junior Research Fellowship and Research Assciateship during his research career. He has joined as a Faculty member in the School of Earth Sciences, SRTM University, Nanded, Maharashtra in 1996 and presently working as a Professor of Geology in the same institute.
