Extension/Outreach Activities:	Lightning awareness project conducted in rural parts of Latur taluka in the 2012 has reduced deaths and increased awareness among people. Earthquake awareness program was executed in 50 earthquake affected villages of Ausa taluka in the year 2013. Similar programs were conducted for various natual as well as man made disasters in the surrounding area. Disaster management trainings were conducted for government employees and police department .
