| Summary of Academic Career |
• I am working as a teacher, researcher and academic administrator in a professional career from last 11 years, after joining the School of Earth Sciences, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, Maharashtra, as an Assistant Professor in the School of Earth Sciences (July 06, 2010 to till date).
• I have worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Environmental Science, University of Pune, India during September 2009 to June 2010. As a research associate, I was engaged in the departmental research and teaching activities. I have worked on Environmental Impact Assessment Projects as a coordinator for Environmental Analysis.
• I have worked as a Senior Environmental Consultant at Yogiraja Industrial Consultants, Bopodi, Pune.
• I have also worked as visiting faculty in various institutes including 1) Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune (2009-10) 2) Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Pune (June to Sept 2009). 3) Department of Environmental Sciences, Ratnagiri Sub-Centre, University of Mumbai. 4) MIT College, Pune 5) Indian Institute of Coast and Management studies & Research (IndSearch) for Post graduate diploma in Environmental Management and MBA. 6) Tikaram Jagannath (TJ) etc.

• I have carried out my doctoral research on the topic “Bioaccumulation studies on some selected heavy metals from Isapur Dam with special reference to its aquatic ecosystem.” During my doctoral work, I have performed several field surveys in the study area and laboratory analysis of water, sediment and plankton samples. I have research experience in the field of Environmental Science including water pollution, GIS and Remote Sensing and published 19 research articles in national and international peer reviewed journals.
• Presented my work in 05 International, 07 national and 04 state/local level conferences/seminars.
• Delivered lectures in Orientation and Refresher course organized by Academic Staff Colleges at Aurangabad and Amravati.
• Delivered a lecture in International conference on remote sensing & GIS applications in Natural Resource Management.
• I am a life member of Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) Membership No. L25730 and Journal of Environmental Science and Engineering, (NEERI, Nagpur).
• Consequently, In addition, throughout my academic carrier, I have delivered several guest lectures, public talks and worked as an expert/Judge in science competition at regional and state levels.
• Successfully completed 39 IIRS Outreach Satellite based distance learning programs organized by IIRS, Govt. of India.
• I was fortunate enough to have an association with Shri. Pramod Kumar, Senior Scientist, Water and Resource Management Division RRSSC, ISRO, Dehradun. Under his able guidance I worked on a project, “Identification of Prospective Hydropower sites in the Nandakini River Valley, Uttarakhand at Regional Remote Sensing Service Centre (RRSSC), Dehradun affiliated to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Dehradun during May 2008 - July 2008.

- I am regularly organizing Nirmalya collection, management and public awareness programs in association with local colleges and NWCMC during Ganeshotsav from last 10 years.
- I have also organized Eco-friendly Ganesh Idol making programs with the students of School of Earth Sciences, SRTM university, Nanded since last six years
- I have delivered various public talks (More than 40) addressing current environmental issues, scope and importance of Environmental Science subject and recent geographical technologies for the benefit of society.
- I am also involved in organizing voter awareness programs, NSS activities including blood donation, cleanliness rallies etc.
- I have worked as Mentor for students in Science competition and acted as Judge for science exhibitions and other competitions.
- I am regularly organizing special program on the occasion of World ozone day to increase the awareness about the effects and control measures air pollution and Ozone depletion
