Best Student Award

Best Student of the University Award is given by using three tier system selection processes. The students were assessed by their performance in Group Discussion, Debate & Personal Interview besides taking into consideration their Curriculum Vitae.

Earn and Learn

Under this newly introduced scheme University provides partial financial assistance to the students willing to work in the campus while taking their formal education.

Women’s Day Celebration

Keeping in view the backdrop in which the University is situated. It is felt that the backwardness of the region can be alleviated more effectively by encouraging/promoting education and active participation from women in getting awareness about their rights. Therefore, university organizes the Women’s Day celebration lectures annually. The women’s Day was celebrated in 2005, 2006, 2007 on 8th of March every year.

University has participated in this state wide activity during the last three academic years and secured silver medal in the year 2006-2007. In the year 2007-2008 our university student bagged a Gold medal and this year (2008-2009) first prize in Humanities (UG level) is achieved by University.
