I am highly grateful to our Honourable Vice Chancellor for giving helping hand by
appointing a woman, especially from minority, for shouldering responsibility of
Department of Students’ Welfare.
I acquired my position with effect from September 2008. University could not
function in aviary to where therefore, we have designed our according to
Radhakrishnan Commission,” Natural and Human development must move parallelly
and should enlightening the minds of pupils, physical development by morality.”
Every individual has their qualities and they differ respectably like intelligence,
feelings and action. Thus, understanding the individual differences we have to make
for all round development of the students in the balance.
We are abjectly thinking towards the all round development of students in the campus
and their affiliated colleges by making them participating in various areas and
inculcating moral values like National integration, Social acceptance , Secularism
and building character , equity, Social work into them. According to 1994 act of UGC
norms under section, the Director of DSW is ready to function for best socialization of
students securing higher education in the colleges linked with University and making
University as a student centred by providing them with all welfaristic programs. We
have following objectives set by DSW
- Designing welfare programs for students
- To provide healthy competitive platform for the students’ personality
development involving elocution competition, Debate competition, and
cultural programs like Youth Festival
- Conducting the elections and forming new students’ councils making their
talents channelized properly.
- We are ever ready for helping the students affected by natural by providing
them various insurance policies.
We are committed to future plan including following-
- Strengthening Earn & Learn scheme (increase in budget allocation up to 20
lakh from 10 lakh.)
- Special impartment mission for girls “ Kanya Nirbhay Bano Abhiyan”
- Workshop for students’ council members
- Organization of “ INDRADHANUSHYA- 2012”
- Mural activities strengthening
