The school is an interdisciplinary center of higher learning established in the year 1994 with the sole purpose of generating and disseminating innovating knowledge. Apart from training students as per the national/international standards it has been showing specific interest in exploring the problems and needs of Marathwada region. The School runs postgraduate programmes in different disciplines under credit system. Field work component is very integral to most of these courses.
