Academic Autonomy
The school enjoys academic autonomy from this year 2009. The courses are modular in nature and there is flexibility in framing of the syllabus as per demands from the outside world. The school has an Ad-hoc board which deals with the syllabus revision, recommendation of external examiner’s panel for M.Sc. / M.Phil examination as well as Ph.D. thesis evaluation.
The administrative work is canalized through various departmental committees such as Admission committee, Exam committee, Purchase committee, Library committee, IQAC & documentation committee, Research committee, etc.
The school is being encouraged by our university to have collaborations with national & international universities. The teachers are encouraged to attend training programs and also to organize research & teaching programs in the form of Workshops/ Seminars/ Conferences.
