School of Pharmacy was established in Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded in 2007 and has been offering Master of Pharmacy degree to cater to the needs of pharmacists and with the objective to fulfill the requirements of this region. The main aim of the school is to impart high quality education in pharmacy at the post graduate and doctorate level so as to generate superior and excellent human resources, and to sustain and enhance the opportunities for research and scholarly activities of high standard. The school offers two courses at present viz. M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry with intake capacity of 18 each. The curriculum has been designed as per AICTE norms with emerging/cutting edge topics in the field of Pharmacy. The school follows Credit based performance and assessment system (CGPA) and students are expected to earn 75 credits for completion of M. Pharmacy. At present the school has well qualified, dynamic and enthusiastic faculty members from different areas of Pharmacy. Further expansion to include additional courses in the area of pharmacy like Clinical Pharmacy, Quality Assurance, Pharmacology and Pharmacognocy at PG level is underway.
