The school currently has thirteen faculty members on its pay role. All the faculty members have Ph. D. in diverse areas of Life sciences. The new recruits are NET/SET qualified. Some of the senior faculty members have under gone postdoctoral training in Biotechnology in India and abroad. Prof. S. Mohan Karuppayil had undergone DBT sponsored postdoctoral training in Biotechnology at IISc Bangalore and later at Texas University at Austin and Dr. G. Gyannath at US universities. Dr. Chavan S. P. had completed Post Doctoral Training in Cestode Parasite Taxonomy from Institute of Parasitology, Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic. Three of our faculty members completed their Ph. D. while employed in the school. To facilitate Interdisciplinary learning faculty members were recruited with M. Sc. and Ph. D. in diverse areas: Plant Sciences, Animal Sciences, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology from various universities like, Mumbai University, Annamalai University, Pune University, Dr. BAMU Aurangabad, and SRTM University. Teachers were selected based on Interview and colloquium. Contract appointment and Guest faculty members handle additional work. Temporary teachers are selected from a pool of candidates based on interview. The faculty members presented their research in various countries, for the purpose Dr. Gacche R. N. Has Visited Austria, China for Paper Presentation in the Conference. Dr. Nile S. H. Presented paper in Italy, China and awarded Young scientist award, Dr. Chavan S. P. presented paper in 13th World Lake Conf. Wuhan China & Presented Poster in the 7th International Workshop on Cestode Systematics and Phylogeny in Kansas University, USA, July 2011. Dr. G. Zore, presented paper in the the Conference in Malaysia.
