Completed M.Phil in the year 1993. The dissertation submitted (M. Phil) is on “T.S. Eliot’s Theory of Impersonal Art”. Presently working for Ph.D. programme on the concept of New Black Womanhood in the poetry of the Afro-American Women poets in the Seventies.

Contributed as member of syllabus designing committee for M.A. and M.Phil in English. The syllabus is in force from the academic year 2007. Basically Lecture method is adopted for teaching. Moreover, emphasis is given on the initiation of the student in the process of teaching and learning. The feedback on the topic taught is obtained through Seminar, Tutorial, Home-assignment and Practical work done by the student. The students are provided with reading material, notes and other pro –study material Apart from teaching, the students are regularly counselled and guided for the opportunities of placement. NET coaching classes are being conducted by the school.
