Research and Extension

The faculty at school has shown a good promotion towards the research and publication activities. School of Computational Sciences is slowly but steadily acquiring sophisticated instruments to carry out the research. A faculty member has been awarded research guide ship and currently ten students are registered for PhD under him.

There are three SET-NET qualified staff members and five staff members have appeared for M.Phil course.

All faculties have registered for PhD research work.

From last eight years the School has given nine international papers and two more are selected at International Journals, during this year. Two faculties have published their work in International conferences as well as in National level Journals in recent years.

Most recently, a collectively contributed research paper by school faculties has been short listed for“2009 WSEAS International Conferences, Budapest”.

The school helps for extension services in all sorts. The faculties help other departments regarding academic, administrative and computer related spheres. The School faculties deliver lectures in other Schools of the University.

Some of the faculties have worked and extended their hands to Examination department (worked as JCS, ACS, and Computerization for CAP).

Most recently, a faculty of the school has been appointed as Program Officer, Student Welfare Department of the University Campus.
