The School of Chemical Sciences has good reputation and a bright future. Our M. Sc. degree programs prepare society's future chemists and scientists. Our faculty's research and scholarships generate and disseminate chemistry knowledge to the State, the Nation and the World.

Our outreach programs offer opportunities to share this knowledge with others, including practicing professionals, as well as primary and secondary school children. To achieve our mission, the School will continue to

• pursue multi-disciplinary research within and beyond the University,
• find innovative ways to instruct students,
• forge partnerships with industry and government and to establish a reputation as one of the nation’s highest ranking chemistry departments.
